What are the documents required to register for a driving license?

- Original IC/ Original Passport

What is the minimum age to obtain driving license?

Malaysian/foreigners who have attained the age of 16 can obtain a B2/B (Motorcycle) whereas 17 for D/DA (Car).
However, other licenses (eg. E, PSV, GDL and H) must be 21 years or above and with the CDL Car License has more than 1 year.

Where do I have my KPP course, driving lessons and test?

KPP course, driving lessons and JPJ test will be held at our HQ office, Penang. (Except computer test will be tested by outsider company).

Can I change/ cancel my test date?

Yes, you can change/cancel your test date but your payment will be forfeited and you need to pay full amount for rebooking or test date.

Can I follow my own practice schedule?

Yes, but please refer to our time schedule and make looking accordingly.

Yes, but you have to make the reservation at least a week in advance.

Is there any alternative way, if I have failed the computer test for 3 times?

Yes, you can request for written exam.

After my KPP course, how long can I register for computer test?

You can register computer test on the next day of your KPP course.

By when I have to book the JPJ Test?

You have to book your JPJ Test at least 5 days in advance.

How long does the KPP certificate validity period?

After you attend the KPP course, the KPP certificate is valid for 1 year period from the date you attended your course.

How long does the Computer Test (Highway Code Exam) validity period?

The Computer test result is valid for 1 year period from the date you passed your exam.

How long does the L.D.L. (Learner’s Driving Licnese) validity period?

The ‘L’ License is valid for 2 years period and you can renew it for a period of 3 months, 6 months and 9 months.

How long does the P.D.L. (Probationary Driving License) validity period?

The validation for ‘P’ License is 2 years, but you have to renew the ‘P’ License to Competent Driving License (CDL) within a 1 year period from the expired date.

You will get it in 3 working days unless due to unforeseen circumstances.
